Many of us do not take the necessary steps alleviate work related stress – which can add to the number of sick days we take each year.  Often, our first inclination may be to step away from our desk and take a smoke break grab another cup of coffee. This just adds to toxins in our bodies. Health Benefits of the Acai Berry

The acai berry grows on the acai palm, and is native to Central and South America.  The berry is about an inch long, and is a reddish purple in color, making is a relative to other berries of its color. The big hype around the acai berry is its antioxidant power. Some people believe that it has more antioxidants than other berries of similar color, but studies have yet to confirm this.  However, the acai berry does contain antioxidant power, which plays an important role in holistic health, and may help reduce the risk of some diseases.
