Get My Master’s Degree in Facebook?

With the number of jobs currently available in social media marketing and PR, it should come as little surprise that Universities are now offering Graduate Study Programs in things like Facebook and Twitter, but is it really a viable degree? The University of Salford, the first University to offer the program, believes so.  "Social media is often associated with photos and statuses on Facebook, but there's a massive potential for it to bring communities together, whether they're geographical or online,” says course leader Professor Ben Light.
